If the answer is yes, you have the possibility to work with our AI-research experts in close collaboration with data scientists and machine learning engineers in related use cases. This will give you valuable insights into how machine learning works at scale inside one of the biggest fashion retail companies in the world!
What do we want to solve?
We want to research state-of-the-art sequential deep-learning models on our vast number of time series and compare to our internal models. The data is rich in context dimensions, such as location, categories and image features.

In our research H&M's AI Research and Exploration team environment we actively strive to create an open, friendly and respectful work environment where researchers are encouraged to express freely their ideas. Where do we work?
We aim to work on premise in Stockholm but this is subject to the guidelines of the Public Health Agency of Sweden for Covid-19.

Who are we looking for?
A successful candidate:
- is studying machine learning, mathematics, computer science, software engineering or similar
- has experience building machine learning models in Python using PyTorch or TensorFlow
- has experience working with data intensive computing, through coursework or other work
- has experience working with deep learning methods for sequential data, through coursework or other work
- is a self-driven team player and happy to swim in the deep end
- is creative and collaborative
- is fluent in English
It is a bonus if the candidate:
- has previous working experience
- has experience with transformers models
- has code on Github or similar
