Job description

A fashion consulting firm in startup stage with a growing global team from some of the top universities and fashion/art institutions is looking for a dedicated, challenge seeking and initiative taking, hardworking, highly strategic, creative and analytical growth strategist with leadership qualities as our Growth Strategy Intern. You will be responsible for identifying and strategizing viral growth and business development opportunities in various aspects for the company from growth strategy, business development, B2B sales, PE, M&A, partnerships, PR, branding to viral campaigns, advertising/commercials, content creation, organization optimization and operations etc.

This role has the potential to grow into head and other management roles within a few months for the top candidate as the business continues expanding internationally.

We offer a combination of traditional services such as fashion PR, celebrity marketing, branding, global marketing communication, retail strategy, fashion creatives as well as growth and digital strategy, social media marketing and content strategy, influencer marketing, Ecommerce, fashion tech, innovative store concepts, financial analysis, supply chain/operations/merchandising strategy and data analytics.

Your Background -
Candidates major in business, marketing, economics, finance(Private Equity, M&A, equity research, global economy analysis), fashion business and marketing, PR, Sociology, Liberal Arts, films, advertising or other relevant fields from top universities and fashion/art institutes.

*Business development: identify opportunities to grow the company client and partnership base; conduct sales, marketing and outreach activities to generate leads and turn prospects into clients/partners. Build and maintain relationship with potential clients/partners. An excellent communicator and relationship builder.

*Viral growth marketing campaigns: coming up with viral marketing campaign strategy and ideas.

*Other business development responsibilities:
- Support strategic initiatives that drive client accounts and revenue growth for the company.
- Research to come up with targeted prospect list and contact info.
- Use a combination of direct personal approach, email, automated marketing and cold calling to generate leads, create sales pipelines and prospect conversion processes.
- Qualify and help convert leads into clients through follow-up calls, emails, participating in client meetings and other strategic approaches.
- Develop strategies to follow up, engage with prospective clients and help close the sale.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with prospect and future clients.
- Create marketing campaigns, deploy marketing systems to automate and optimize the lead generation and prospecting process.
- Familiar with CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Eloqua, Acquisio etc. for sales lead tracking, management and reporting.
- Brainstorm with the team to create business development strategies and sales techniques.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Great at building, cultivating and maintaining relationship

*Content creation, advertising and commercials: create content, advertising campaigns or commercials with viral growth potentials.

*Financial and economic analysis, equity research, private equity, M&A: Private equity, M&A research and analysis to identify business expansion and investment opportunities.

*Branding: brainstorm and come up with branding ideas and strategies for company and the clients.

*PR: pitch to land media coverage, speaking engagement, partnership and collaboration opportunities for the company. Outreaches to grow the firm.

*Social media growth and content strategy, influencer relations: Engage and growth our social media accounts. Managing social media, partnership and influencer activities to raise awareness of the firm and promote our consulting services. Build and grow a community with potential clients and influencers.

*Create sales and marketing process/pipelines to help market the firm’s services to potential clients. Deploy marketing technologies to make the process efficient and effective.

*Organization optimization: coming up with strategies and tactics to enhance and grow team performance, morales, productivity, efficiency, quality, organization structure and operations etc.

*The ideal candidate is highly intelligent and a quick self-learner, hardworking and dedicated, proactive and an initiative taker, creative, strategic, innovative and a good communicator.

*Project management: help with team project management to ensure productivity and timely delivery of projects and tasks.


Location –
The company has a remote structure and remote culture. Ideally candidates would be in these five cities: New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles, Stockholm. Candidates can however be 100% remote. Being in these major cities comes with the benefits of participating in face to face meetings and planning. You should be able to start immediately in order to apply.

Availability –
Can dedicate 3-5 days a week on this adventure.

Compensation –
Unpaid first with the potential to grow into commission and salaried role.

Work Authorization –
You need to have work authorization in the country you reside in while working on this intern.

Native or fluent in English, French or Swedish
