zLabels is Zalando's fashion subsidiary. Located in the heart of Berlin, we develop fashion brands handling every step in the product lifecycle from initial design right through to distribution. When designing for new labels we draw inspiration from haute couture collections and young unconventional designers. We have a wide range of fashion labels and brands: from sporty men's fashion to refined women's wear up to modern kids shoe collections. Some of our brands and labels like mint&berry, Zign, Anna Field and Twintip have become extremely successful during the last few years, establishing ourselves as a professional fashion company.

There's no stopping us growing and we are looking for you to join our team to start immediately, in a permanent position as Senior Sales Manager EU with a focus on the B2B fashion sector. This is an excellent growth opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge and wants to join an innovative and fast paced team at our beautiful Berlin Friedrichshain location.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

A key member of the Wholesale team, accountable for driving the growth and penetration into the global market. To lead on account management, developing partnerships with key customers. Leading with the wholesale team to create compelling product ranges that maximize trading opportunities.

YOUR CHALLENGE

* You'll be the lead in managing European and International Wholesale activities, key accounts, developing partnerships and relationships, delivering sustainable growth by account in line with budgeted sales and profit objectives
* You'll negotiate terms and agreements with new partners and renewal of existing, maximizing return on each as well as identify opportunities and implement new business strategies
* You'll lead and develop a small team ensuring excellent communication, responsiveness and service
* You'll manage online and offline showroom sales
* You'll plan the budgeting in close cooperation with the controlling and merchandising team and responsible for monthly reporting on sales and bta targets
* You'll build, conduct and oversee product educational trainings and concept implementations
* You'll have P&L responsibility for designated key accounts and operate as a key frontline representative internally and externally actively building and targeting an extensive network of wholesale clients
* You'll work closely with the brand teams to build range plans to sell collections effectively to customers

WHAT YOU'VE GOT

* You have more than 8 years of relevant experience, ideally with an established senior executive industry network in the B2B fashion sector and managed a team
* You have a proven track record of sales performance and achievements on revenue targets
* You possess entrepreneurial thinking and excitement about building something new
* You are a strategic thinker and have a trading mentality that drives performance
* You are a confident individual that is credible in representing Zlabels brands
* You are an analytical thinker with strong business acumen with the ability to use innovation to solve complex problems
* You'll be confident in managing budgets and projects effectively and can communicate status clearly
* You'll be a strong team player who is driven to succeed and draws inspiration from working collaboratively with others
* You have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with a multilingual international customer base and sales team
